Systems Engineer
Current• Participate and lead IT planning process and ensure architectural designs and principles are incorporated in enterprise implementations. • Provide senior level direction to the Information Technology team, assist with mentoring and providing technical guidance to more junior staff members while serving as an escalation point with senior level technical guidance. • Design and deploy best practices regarding system monitoring, change control, service level agreements, and in the creation of the company’s infrastructure policies and standards. • Oversee and provide operations support including account management, workflow, log analysis, troubleshooting and service optimization. • Establish strong relationship with key technology stakeholders and facilitate, communicate, and collaborate with others in the definition, adoption and implementation of a coherent architectureResponsible for the maintenance, monitoring, configuration, and reliable operation of virtual servers, computer hardware, enterprise storage, networking and security systems. • Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues. • Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate process for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures. • Responsible for providing physician and staff with fast and reliable access to enterprise EMR system to ensure patient safety and privacy maintaining HIPPA compliance.
