Design and sustaining engineer for the Grove CarryDeck line of cranes- Generate new and modify existing BOMs (Bill of Materials)- Create and analyze weldments and components utilizing GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) conforming to ASME Y14.9-2009 standards- Use AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and PTC Creo Parametric 2.0 with WindChill PDMLink to create and revise engineering drawings- Embedded Value Stream engineer, acting as a first responder for KPI (Key Performance Indicator) issue resolution- Ensure designs meet applicable standards and regulations (OSHA, EN13000, ISO, internal specifications, etc.)- Heavily involved with Tier 4 Final repower projects to meet the latest emissions standards- Taken part in both product standardization and cost savings initiatives- Make product improvements based on feedback from manufacturing, assembly, and customers

Maintain and operate the Advanced Metallics Heat Treatment facility which boasts 35 commercial and specialty material processing furnacesPerform testing for cutting edge materials research in the areas of:-Creep - specializing in high temperature/ultra-high vacuum (1.0E-12 torr)-Tensile/Compression-Stress RelaxationMaintain world class vacuum facilities used to simulate near-space conditionsDevelop and maintain specialized and general-purpose data acquisition solutionsSpecial Projects as assigned to restore or expand existing capabilities:- Improved the Vacuum Hot Pressing capability by modifying the load train for accurate, real-time load and displacement measurement- Restored and updated Rapid Solidification metallic processing capability- Multi-axial, high temperature creep testing of single-crystal thin-walled pressure vessels

Worked individually to convert an unused x-ray crystallography instrument to produce Laue images of single crystal alloys to determine atomic lattice orientation.This restored a critical function of the Analytical Science Group's X-ray capability and saved over $100,000 in lieu of purchasing a new Laue instrument
