Principle advisor to the Commander on the operational and tactical use of the Battalion.-Responsible for the creation and management of all future plans and operations along with the publication of quality operational orders in preparation for worldwide deployment as part of a Joint, Interagency, and Multi-National team in a full spectrum environment.-Led for the planning, resourcing and synchronizing training and operations. Prepared, coordinated, authenticated, reviewed, published, and distributed written operation orders and plans. Served as mentor to junior officers and noncommissioned officers on leadership, plans, and operations. -Managed allocation of schools, Defense Travel System, ammunition, and land resources. Ensured establishment of the Battalion Tactical Operations Center.

-Served as the executive officer and second-in-command of a 750-soldier infantry battalion. Assumed responsibilities of the battalion commander in his absence. -Ensured the personnel and equipment in the battalion were always prepared to deploy world-wide within 96 hours.-Directly supervised seven primary staff officers and provided regular advice and counsel for five company commanders. -Responsible for all logistical and budget requirements for the battalion.
