I worked on a bunch of things at We Heart It:Front-end:- Architected an incredibly light client side javascript framework to help our rails app move some of the heavy lifting to the client, while still maintaining a view-based architecture.- Updated the primarily static web client to take advantage of SPA without moving controller logic to the clientBackend:- Did some light Ruby on Rails hacking.- During my time here we adopted Cassandra, RabbitMQ, Statsd, and many other interesting technologies.Growth/Product:- Participated heavily in product initiatives that resulted in 3x growth over 3 quartersiOS:- Wrote a redesigned iOS 7 app from the ground up- The live app now has 80k (and counting) reviews, average 5 stars.

I worked throughout this entire period as a private contractor, mostly working on concept-to-completion projects where myself and possibly a designer were entirely responsible for the completion of the projects.

At LMPN, I develop web applications, desktop applications, serve as the in-house server administrator and version control systems administrator. I spend most of my time working with Actionscript 3, PHP, Javascript, CSS, Bash Scripting, and MySQL.

At Product2Web, my main focus was to integrate systems with our proprietary CMS. I worked with many payment and fulfillment companies and created solutions for integrating external APIs with our in-house code. I worked mostly in PHP and Javascript, but also spent time working with Bash scripting, Actionscript 3, XHTML and CSS.

At Concentric Sky, I worked as a front end engineer, working in the django framework and javascript. I also worked as a Flash Developer, creating rich api-powered apps.

At Creative Acceleration I worked primarily in Flash development, and spent most of my time with them writing clean as3 code for some very ambitious projects. Through Creative Acceleration I worked on a minisite for a major motion picture, and other large interactive projects. I worked on the full stack as well here - Back end and Front end programming, database and server administration.

At NWB, I worked on a small team of engineers responsible for maintaining uptime on VOIP boxes. This required lots of shell interaction, and heavy use of proprietary tools.
