Supporting recruitment and selection efforts, the Student Engagement Coordinator will be responsible for determining the necessary number of leaders and volunteers for various roles and developing comprehensive position descriptions. In terms of Training and Development, the Coordinator will coordinate training sessions and mixers for leaders and volunteers at both campuses, as well as develop an online training module and assist with the launch of the Student Engagement app. Creating a welcoming and supportive work environment for all team members will be a priority, along with promoting school spirit and assisting with conflict resolution. The Coordinator will also be responsible for communicating with multiple departments around campus, event coordinating for Orientation Events, and managing logistical planning and marketing initiatives. Additionally, the Student Engagement Coordinator will play a key role in coordinating the NC Float at the Grape and Wine Parade, recruiting and supervising volunteers for this high-profile event.

Conducting campus tours for new students and their supporters during preparation weeks and orientation. Assisting with various events such as campus tours, helping sessions on the MyNC Portal, and welcoming stations. Helping with marketing and promotional tasks for Student Engagement Events. Effectively communicate with multiple departments on campus. Helping with NC cash inventory, managing swag inventory, running student life/information booths on campus, and possibly acting as a lead for an event. Additionally, promoting school spirit.
