During my time at NPD my role developed into a key, multi-faceted, support role to a number of parts of the business. My duties included total responsibility for monthly financial reporting, full financial management of one of our retail fuel stations, and learning all parts of the administration system should I need to step in to cover or assist any of the admin team. I also spent time in each part of the business, from dispatch to lubricant sales, information technology to human resources, and managing aspects of projects such as the development of new retail sites.Some of my key accomplishments in this role were the development of a mobile app, streamlining of monthly reporting and day to day processes, design and implementation of a digital signage solution, and development of a new robust asset management and tracking system. I finished my time at NPD by leading the company’s transition to a paperless delivery and billing system.
