Most of the sporting events out there were all often known for their distance whether it's the 100-meter dash, the 26.2 mile, or 140.6 in the Ironman. But Marc and I soon discovered in our research that there were no events that were synonymous with vertical gain. We then began wondering, 'What if we brought the vertical height of Mt. Everest, 29,029 feet to be precise, to our participants?'Basically, 29029 Everesting gives people a unique way to summit as many times they could within a 36 hour period. This is more than just getting to the top. It's about watching people get out of their comfort zone, expand their mindset and surprise themselves by achieving what they thought was impossible.29029 is about being part of an amazing community of people with shared experiences that inspires them to tap into their greatness. This is a place for people to create memories with like minded individuals, discover what they’re made of, and leave the mountain better than they arrived. Over the past couple of years It's been so powerful to see people - moms, C-level executives, fathers, business owners overcome mental and physical challenges while summiting the mountain. Every year, I’m amazed by the stories that come out of the mountain. The people who had never run a 5k yet signed up and committed to summit Everest, the couples who used this event to rebuild their relationships, and those who looked to prove to themselves they could achieve what they put their mind to.
