This role is 100% travel to customer sites with projects ranging from a few weeks to a year long. Development Engineer focusing on the following areas: -Working on new R&D projects, mainly new Ionic Liquid Alkylation technologies to advance safer alternatives to current HF processes. -Running pilot plant operations to determine optimized conditions and monitor key process variables. -Bench-scale analytical testing of spent catalyst to determine deactivation rates. -Six sigma knowledge to improve current analytical work process for ionic liquid catalyst testing. -Work in the engineering skills center working on customer projects. Deliverables included hydraulics calculations, vessel, pipe, heat exchanger sizing for naphtha technologies. -Used UniSim and company hydraulics programs to develop correct pressure profiles for singular units, ensuring proper cross-tie consistencies within the complex.-Attended and participated in both team and customer meetings to ensure on-time delivery of project deliverables.

Develop a training document for customer relations personnel to work with UniSim simulations along with new UniSim simulation tool to aid in troubleshooting heat exchanger networks for fowling.
