Manage simultaneous projects and meet strict deadlines. Manage the tech staff that troubleshoots and responds to user software and hardware related problems in a timely and efficient manner. Responsible for assigning projects to technicians and assisting them when necessary. Maintain network connectivity for WAN users. Install and configure new computers for use on- and off-campus. Repair and maintain several hundred Macs/PCs at three sites, including eight labs with 20+ computers each. Work with network administrators to resolve network related issues. Provide regular updates to Head of school on status of labs, laptops and desktops, project activities, and any problem areas, which may adversely affect systems or end users. Helped setup and maintain wireless network for over 500 users, including 4 wireless labs across 2 sites. Create custom images to speed up deployment of labs, and new user computers.
