Analysis: Complete vehicle teardown and detailed inspection for restoration planning w/ photo documentation and parts cataloging/organizationCustomer Service: Working directly with clients to establish a restoration plan to stay on time and within the allocated budget (Setting expectations and providing progress updates at set intervals; relaying issues found/delays.Forklift Operation: Moving heavy, unbalanced loads (vehicle chassis, bodies, and parts for shipping and storage).Technical Review: Of components to ensure parts are compatible within the entire system (required extensive research and calling product support engineers at various companies).Bill of Materials: Ordering, tracking, staging of all parts required for vehicle restoration and pre-installation processes (modification, refinish, or outsourcing i.e. glass and interior work).Electrical System: Complete vehicle wiring harness installation and troubleshooting, 6V to 12V conversions, Gauge cluster rewiring, EFI conversions, inspection, and testing).Industrial Equipment: Proficient knowledge and use of heat cycling paint booths, 240V welding equipment, pneumatic sealing guns, and large sandblasting material removal cabinets.Quality Control: Test drives for Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH), and water testing of vehicle passenger/trunk compartments.Teamwork: Working/communicating with coworkers, and management to ensure the vehicle flows through each stage of the restoration process (teardown, mechanical, metal fab, body, refinish, electrical, interior, detail).
