As a senior corporate communications executive, Jesse Lewin supports brands in leveraging communications that advance trust and sales. He has extensive experience building teams, processes and communications strategies that drive impact on a global scale. Jesse is currently the Head of Leadership Communications for the McDonald’s Corporation. Reporting into the Chief Communications Officer, Jesse oversees all leadership, business, financial and reputation communications for the company. Previously, Jesse served as Head of Global Media Relations at McDonald’s where he focused on bringing the story of the company and its leaders to life externally while overseeing crisis communications that protected the company’s reputation. When Jesse first joined McDonald’s in 2017, he led a team of field-based spokespeople that supported proactive and reactive communications for McDonald’s 14,000 U.S. restaurants. Before McDonald’s, Jesse served as a Director at Burson-Marsteller, joining in 2012. There he worked across several verticals- crisis response, grassroots advocacy campaigns, public policy, government affairs, media relations, and healthcare and pharmaceutical communications. He also supported the firm’s efforts to expand its government and healthcare lines of business. Before Burson-Marsteller, Jesse worked in the White House Office of Communications and the White House Press Office from 2009 to 2012. He led regional media and messaging strategy in support of the passage of signature policy including the Affordable Care Act. Also at the White House, Jesse traveled both domestically and overseas with President Obama as an assistant to the press secretary and liaison to the national press corps covering the Administration. Before the White House, Jesse worked for the 2008 Obama for America Campaign in the press department.
