• Coordinate the implementation of Company’s Environmental Management System, Policies & Procedures with the objective of ensuring compliance with relevant legislation as well as ensuring all operations perform in environmentally responsible manner, both National & International (IFC, ESIA & ESMP).• Coordinate & assist in inspection & hazard identification & reporting programs in the workplace & follow up on appropriate preventative & corrective actions in order to ensure an environmentally conscious working environment.• Records & assist Superintendent-HSE & Project Manager/s with the compilation of environmental data & applicable reports in order to ensure Company & Client environmental record keeping & reporting requirements implemented.• Assist & coordinate with project for hazardous substance and chemical management.• Report, investigate, & communicate any accidents/incidents at work site & in order to effectively identify root causes, reduce incident rates & prevent recurrence.• Maintain good relationship with local authorities & officials in order to ensure successful passing of environmental inspections by local authorities on site, and to address any environmental inspection concerns in a timely manner.• Assist in environmental training & awareness promotion program in order to ensure employees & sub/contractors are aware of practice environmental requirements in the work place.• Convener for Company wide QHSE Meetings• Provide HSE Support services to Implementing Projects.• Assist with ISO14000 Certification requirements.
