As VP of Business Development with Astralux, my function has been to formulate policies and shape the business strategies that have provided the overall direction of the company to become a regional leader in solar integration. The rapid growth of Astralux has been driven by an understanding of the solar energy market - from materials and manufacturing, to state and national solar policy / RPS, to what moves the consumer to invest in solar for their home or business. Thus my focus has also lied in planning and directing competitive intelligence and marketing strategy initiatives - and furthermore working with local organizations and policymakers to promote the government legislation and incentives that drive the solar energy industry.

Functioned as engineer for SBIR projects from DoE, DoD, NASA, NSF, USAF, and NIST. Extensive technical work in semiconductor processing (Si, SiC, AlGaN) and renewable energy technologies.Involved in government project procurement process, including proposal submission, project management, logistics, research and development, and commercialization. Successfully created and promoted the Astralux Entrepreneurial R&D Program (ER&D) to enable engineers and scientist to develop and eventually commercialize their new technology.
