• Lead designer for the Hydraulic Arms and Accessories Source Pressure (HAASP) system on the Space Launch System (SLS) mobile launcher.
• Designed the following mechanisms and fluids systems for the SLS mobile launcher from concept through analysis, modeling, and production of drawings:-Hydraulic control units to supply fluid from pumping unit to the SLS.
• Performed trade study and initial design concept for proposed cross-country RP-1 fueling system at Launch Pad B.
• Performed analysis, pipe sizing, and nozzle selection for fire suppression system on the SLS crew access arm.
• Lead designer for Ares-1 Tilt Up Umbilical Arm (TUUA) prototype.
• Designed the following mechanisms and fluids systems for the Ares-1 mobile launcher from concept through analysis, modeling, and production of drawings:-Hydraulic control units to supply fluid from pumping unit to the.

• Performed testing, troubleshooting, and repair of Space Shuttle Orbiter mechanisms including: payload bay doors, landing gear, external tank umbilical doors, hatches, orbiter docking system, star tracker doors.
• Lead Engineer for orbiter wheel and tire shop. Personally assembled one of the four main landing gear wheel and tire assemblies displayed on the Space Shuttle Enterprise at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum.
• Dispositioned problem reports by examining vehicle prints and schematics, developing written repair procedures, and directing technicians in performing the repairs on the shop floor.
• Led tests of orbiter mechanisms over recorded radio net. This consisted of issuing instructions remotely to the flight deck commander per written procedures and monitoring the resultant movement of various orbiter.
• Oversaw installation of strain gauges on orbiter manipulator positioning mechanism, external tank umbilical doors, and landing gear. Collected and analyzed strain gauge data to characterize system loads to aid in.
• Worked on runway convoy team for orbiter landing, inspecting brakes, wheels, and tires shortly after touchdown.

• Designed flight components and ground support equipment for the Citizen Explorer spacecraft including sun sensor housings, boom deployment switch mechanism, various component mounting brackets, and test fixture adapter.
• Performed ANSYS finite element analysis of entire spacecraft to determine vibration resonance modes.
• Created Mastercam tool paths from solid models; machined, assembled, and tested many spacecraft components.
• Mentored and managed younger student engineers on the team.
