Ik maak onderdeel uit van het team Digital Rail Solutions. Mijn voornaamste werkzaamheden bestaan uit het uitdenken, ontwerpen en ontwikkelen van software die bijdraagt aan het automatiseren en standaardiseren van het ontwerpproces van de Baan & Spoorbouw ontwerpers. Daarnaast hou ik me bezig met ontwikkelingen rondom het IMX van ProRail.

Helping second year Bachelor students (Civil Engineering) with their weekly programming practical in Python. Giving feedback, debugging, answering student questions and grading their output. Developing new programming exercises and providing input to organisation meetings. All-round administration tasks.

During this internship new possibilities are investigated to combine Augmented Reality techniques with the Delft3D Flexible Mesh from Deltares, to aid the design process of coastal projects like the Sand Engine. With the use of a Kinect and a sandbox it is made possible to physically create models for the Sand Engine and receive live feedback in the form.
