CurrentOversee and manage the core infrastructure supporting all critical business application systems and connectivity for World Wildlife Fund. Led a team of specialized technical staff to maintain and improve the technologies empowering WWF’s staff, missions, and connectivity. Establish and maintain a positive working relationship between the IT Department and all other departments within the organization. Technically oversee or directly manage WWF’s physical servers, virtual servers, networking equipment, cloud-based systems, enterprise-wide applications, business continuity, vendor relations, and IT budget.ACHIEVEMENTS: Took over the VMWare to Nutanix transition accompanied by a SAN crash of 2020 and successfully removed all dependencies, transitioned all remaining systems and data that was salvageable, ending with the decommissioning of all old systems—transitioned WWFUS’s office from a local, on-premises PBX-based phone system to a modern, cloud-based, VOIP solution. Led a technology roadmap to overhaul and replace antiquated wired and wireless networking technologies for the headquarters office. Oversaw the design and vendor selection for a cutting-edge audio-video conferencing solution for the conference center of WWF D.C. Designed, acquired, configured, and deployed modernized audio-video conferencing solutions for various conference rooms while adjusting for supply-chain shortages. Configured and deployed an automated monitoring system to monitor all critical systems providing the IT department with immediate visibility into issues the moment they occurred.
