It was a challenging job because the customer base was mostly aging seniors that often times had never owned a cell phone or used the internet and its difficult to explain the capabilities of a smart phone and still keep it simple enough that my customers would understand. I prided myself on the ability to connect with my customers so I could discover there there needs and sell them the device and service that would be a perfect fit for them.

BIG CITY wireless was a cell phone store that I opened and ran myself. I carried brand name cell phones and accessories. I used prepaid network to get my customers into a monthly service without putting them into contracts. I ran the business as a sole proprietor and did everything in house including ordering equipment doing my own inventory and of course the most important duty selling, selling, selling!I did all of the repairs and this was challenging because there are so many different brands, makes, and models to have to learn how to service them but I always completed the repairs in a timely manner. I was fortunate enough to have made some great contacts when I was in the beginning stages of putting this venture together it really helped out. In the end I learned most importantly that the right location is everything I learned this the hard way.
