I hold a Ph.D. in Business and Finance from the esteemed University Carlos III de Madrid, where my research has delved into critical aspects of family businesses. My contributions to the field include research on corporate governance, with a particular focus on female directors in family businesses, ethical behavior within this context, and the intriguing interplay between socioemotional wealth in family firms and their financial performance. Notably, two of my articles have already been published in esteemed academic journals, one of which is featured in the prestigious Financial Times FT-50 list.As I progress in my academic journey, my passion lies in exploring contemporary issues within the dynamic realm of family businesses. I am particularly excited about investigating sustainability, succession leadership dynamics within family enterprises, and the nuanced adoption, challenges, and opportunities of artificial intelligence within these organizations.Before embarking on my academic path, I accumulated six years of invaluable industry experience with the Linde Group. In my role as a Business Development Specialist, I spearheaded strategic projects aimed at expanding the B2B product portfolio within the healthcare division across Latin America. Additionally, I've been privileged to volunteer as a mentor, providing guidance and support to young girls at the onset of their careers.
