Senior Software Developer
At FARO I have consistenly grown and excelled in all aspect of development, from C# and WPF, through leading a team with embedded c++ and OpenCL, to most recently switching to web development to deliver a high performance web application as we transition into the cloud.As a senior developer for our novel 4D web application, I effectively integrated technologies such as React, Typescript, and React Three Fiber/ThreeJS. This application cleverly converges 360 Panorama images, Cad designs, and Point clouds across time, into an immersive and intuitive interface that showcases our advanced imaging capabilities.In my previous role, I steered the development of the FARO Cobalt, our company's 3D scanner. I wrote the Embedded C++ and OpenCL code that powers its high-speed precision scanning. I established networking functionalities, developed highly parallel code, and create a versatile API compatible with C++ and .NET environments. As well as an Associated WPF application. As part of this team, I also developed a Motion Control API for Kuka and USRobotics robots as part of a project to automate the scanning of parts.Earlier, I was pivotal in enhancing the CAM2 Q software package. By employing my proficiency in C#, WPF, and C++; I ensured a seamless interaction between the software and our measurement devices. This significantly improved the software's robustness, efficiency, and performance, thus elevating the user experience.
