I'm a Senior Lecturer at the Wellington School of Business and Government at Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington. I teach courses in entrepreneurship, people analytics, and Indigenous management, governance and organisation. Throughout the second half of 2024 I am a Fulbright Scholar based at UMass Boston in the College of Management and UMass Amherst at the newly created Center for Braiding Indigenous Knowledges and Science. My project explores the visualisation of Indigenous management knowledges, and the intersection between these and topics commonly taught in business schools. I'm also currently co-Editor for the Indigenous Management: Knowledges and Frameworks book, to be published by Sage in 2025. The companion website, available at https://www.indigenousmanagement.org shows the wide range of international collaborators, offers news about work in the Indigenous research space, and provides a growing collection of Resource pages to support teaching and learning about Indigenous management, governance and organisation. As a founding trustee of Te Matarau a Māui, a regional Māori development agency, I'm honoured to work in the space of Māori thriving. Te Matarau a Māui was developed from a regional strategy development process, alongside a mana whenua roopu and the Greater Wellington Regional Council. I'm is also an Amonuku (Associate Director) on the inaugural He Tukutuku Koiora tikanga-led governance programme developed by Tapuwae Roa. As part of this I am a board observer with the MetService - Te Ratonga Tirorangi.
