I conducted Zoning Analysis Reports and Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) as per ASTM standards on a wide range of commercial, industrial, and residential properties. I subcontracted ESAs from five different national companies including AEI Consultants, EFI Global, EBI Consulting, Partner Engineering and Science, and Nova Consulting. I completed on average four to eight ESAs per month on properties throughout the country.

Apache Junction, Arizona

I assisted staff and the public with zoning verifications, site plan and permit reviews, and front counter operations. I conducted research for various projects including inventories of RV storage lots, “county islands” within the City, and analysis of potential annexations. I present city-initiated rezoning cases at public hearings with the Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council. I prepared presentations for the Department Director on sign codes, the history of plans and planning of the City’s Downtown, and reviewing the Arizona State Land Department and the planning study of the 275-square mile Superstition Vistas for a Mobile Workshop at the 2016 APA National Conference.

I worked in a team and individually to conduct strategic comprehensive plans for economic development and revitalization. In the summer of 2014, I assisted in a mill revitalization plan for the Front Street Mill in West Springfield, Massachusetts. In the fall of 2014, I conducted the first phase of a Town Center comprehensive plan for the Town of Stow, which included the analysis of future uses a Town owned parcel adjacent to Ministers Pond. The second phase analyzed the future uses of the various municipal and institutional buildings in the Town Center. As part of these projects I have organized and facilitated community workshops to gain stakeholder opinions and presented findings to municipal employees and the public.

I produced a variety of analytical data publications focused on regional economic, housing, transportation, land use, and demographic trends for a wide variety of publication platforms. I played an integral role in managing and updating regional databases, responding to data requests from PVPC staff, municipal officials, and other external constituents. I gathered and organized data from government and other website sources. I assisted in producing a Data Digest analyzing the financial stresses for small and rural school districts.

Westfield, Massachusetts

At Tighe & Bond, I collaborated with a high level team on various Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, Phase II Subsurface Investigations, Underground Storage Tank removals, and Brownfield’s projects. I also conducted emergency response operations for numerous sites with sudden releases of oil and/or hazardous materials to the environment including transformer releases for power utility companies.
