I manage the license components of the INtime product. This includes a publicly accessible (architected to be highly resilient, microservices, Azure hosted) License Portal written with an Angular frontend, a C# API backend, several C# Windows applications that interact with hardware USB/CID dongles, and industrial printer APIs.My commitment to quality is evident in my passion for testing and my adherence to a TDD approach in all development. This includes comprehensive API testing (Pytest) and UI test automation (Playwright). All development takes place within a Docker container, and every check-in is subject to an end-to-end (E2E) CI system run by Jenkins.I maintain close contact with the test team and am considered an SME on our testing infrastructure.

Before focusing solely on development, I lead the quality team and overall QA strategy at TenAsys. I helped implement a testing infrastructure and testing best practices from the ground up. This included choosing a test management system that met our needs, fully automated testing across various lab hosts, and implementing several processes that helped us always ensure high-quality releases. I ushered in several Agile development practices, such as daily standups and tools like Trello and Slack, to facilitate communication better.I started at TenAsys, we had a handful of lab hosts, and testing was largely manual and irregular. Today, our lab hosts dozens of virtual and physical machines, spanning multiple Windows versions, CPU architectures, and other hardware configurations. Our extensive test suite is automatically executed against each host, and results are acted upon immediately.

I was brought on at The Standard to ensure the success of two projects with executive-level visibility. These projects were to add much-needed updates and functionality to a component called the Calc Engine. The Calc Engine is responsible for generating insurance rates for The Standard clients and quality was the utmost concern. It was a C++ application, had not been released in years, had no unit test coverage, nor an established regression test bed.My responsibilities were to work across teams to review test plans and ensure our overall strategy was correct, define and report on metrics that provided visibility to the steering committee on quality and defects, as well as acting as the final sign off for quality. The updated calc engine was released 8/27 and after working successfully in production for weeks was considered a successful release at The Standard.

I’ve had the privilege of leading a talented team of QA that span both Portland and Seattle as well as an offshore team out of Suzhou China. My responsibilities were to manage my team members and lead quality efforts and initiatives. I work closely with the VP Development to define our overall strategy and practices. I represented all things QA as part of the engineering core leadership team.
