I work as Web Application Developer at Fellow in my home of Seattle, WA. I generally work on two projects: the Financial Intelligence Tool (FIT), an interactive visualizer of financial records and financial health indicators for government bodies in the State of Washington and a raw materials specification program that Fellow maintains and services, an internal application for a Fortune 500 company's supply chain. For FIT, our stack is built with client/server architecture. The backend: C#, SQL Server, .NET, EF Core, OData with an Angular frontend. The raw materials specification program is written in JAVA and XML and uses an Oracle DB. I implement new features, maintain backlogs, and fix bugs. I also update core frameworks and dependencies. I run monthly knowledge transition meetings where I present new features, fixes, and code changes to stakeholders. When new features need to be added to either of my projects, I am often asked to research technologies and present my findings to our development team. We use Agile/SCRUM principles in most of our implementation process.
