Jesse provides individual therapy in a private setting for sexual assault, anxiety, depression, trauma and more. Jesse approaches the work from a humanistic, trauma informed lens, seeing each client for who they are as a whole and supporting them in living a life consistent with who they want to be. Jesse uses EMDR, a leading trauma therapy approach, to support people in creating new meaning, new responses, and new beliefs, related to traumas and other adverse experiences they have had. Previously, Jesse worked as a Mental Health Clinician for Lincoln Families HOPE program (Helping Open Pathways to Education), providing individual as well as in class rehabilitation to children (5-11). Jesse also worked in an Intensive Counseling Enriched Classroom, providing individual therapy, group therapy, and in class rehabilitation to support children who's mental health needs impacted access to the general education classroom setting. Additionally, Jesse worked with the Youth Treatment Program at Transitions Mental Health Association, providing individual therapy, family therapy, advocacy, case management, and milieu intervention to adolescents (12-18) in a residential treatment program. Jesse currently volunteers with Bay Area Women Against Rape (BAWAR) as an advocate to survivors of sexual assault, providing crisis support via BAWAR'S hotline.
