Manage club financial operations including budget oversight, funding acquisition, expense tracking, and adherence to university guidelines

Oversee executive board, ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies during social events, and practiced effective risk management. Work closely with chapter development specialist and house mother to ensure complaints are being addressed and rules are followed. Under the supervision of the Pool Directors and Assistant Directors: supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate the Junior Lifeguards and other staff at the Law Park swimming facility. Perform lifeguard and related duties, provide swimming instruction, and manage the operation of the swimming facilities.

Taught a group of 20 young swimmers, ages five and six, as their town swim team coach, cultivating trust and supportive relationships, and effectively communicating their progress and achievements to their parents. Coached 5 mornings a week and at 3 swim meets a week, setting up and closing the pool for each event.

Learned and maintained proficiency in first responder skills such as First Aid, AED use, and CPR, and facilitated water rescues. Maintained pool safety by vigilantly guarding the area, enforcing regulations, overseeing setup and cleanup. Administered swim lessons to children at the town camp and private lessons to groups of four children.

Participated in the 10-week Emerging Leaders Program of team-based projects and professional development workshops. Reviewed resume critiques, public speaking, interview practice, and PowerPoint skills. Participants apply these skills through a semester-long research project on a topic of choice and present the project. My group focused on Chipotle's sports marketing strategy and partnership with Formula 1.
