I am the public defender for Coconino County's Pathways to Community program. I assist individuals eligible for diversion with knowing their rights and completing the diversion program so that no charges are filed against them.

I managed a case load of at least 40 children and their families at a time, each with unique needs. As a service coordinator, I was the first contact for the family and I identified the parent's concerns for the child, as well as screened the child for any developmental delays. It was my responsibility to identify possible delays, write a family service plan with the therapy team, and to get the therapists into the family's home to begin services as soon as possible.
