I am currently back in South Africa running the business Club Electron where I worked previously for 4 years. We aim to teach primary children the wonderful world of technology through our extensive extra-curricular programs of robotics, coding and electronics. I am also a Business Developer and Sales executive for Persona Studios AI an innovative platform that enables users to create, deploy and manage AI-powered digital assistants, known as Personas. My history:As a Primary ICT Teacher at British Vietnamese International School Ho Chi Minh City, I designed and delivered engaging lesson plans that integrate technology, coding, robotics, and online safety for Year 1-6 students. I use various apps, platforms, and devices, such as Microsoft Office, Homestyler, Bee-Bots, WeDo Lego Robotics, Edisons Robots, Micro-bit Coding, MCodey Rockey and MTiny, and block-based coding and sequencing with Scratch.I have over five years of experience teaching in diverse primary classroom settings, both in Vietnam and South Africa, where I obtained my postgraduate degrees in Elementary Education and Teaching, and Marketing Management, from the University of Cape Town. I am an effective communicator, proficient in developing and delivering lesson plans that emphasize Common Core Standards, and positive results. I am also a cooperative faculty member who productively collaborates with all levels of school staff, as well as with the families of students. I am passionate about fostering a conducive environment for learning and growing, and addressing the various learning styles and needs of students, while ensuring information retainment.
