Working alongside Health and Safety Manager to establish and implement health and safety practices in the workplace that meet the Audit standards of ACC’s Workplace Safety Management Practices (WSMP) in order to achieve a reduction in ACC work cover levies and recognition of the workplace commitment to well-being of staff, customers, suppliers and visitors. As an HR assistant I am also responsible for: -Overseing HR functions of Huntly Joinery Windows Systems (HJWS) as well as subsidiary company Winstal. -Develop H&S site documents -Review and analyse the overall H&S and HR within Winstall -Help develop site Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for both Winstall and HJWS -Help lead the monthly H&S meetings -Develop inductions and training documents for WinstallIn this role I achieved Tertiary Level of H&S Standards as per ACC H&S Scheme resulting in Levy Reductions over Two years.
