As Assistant Director for VCU's Events & Special Programs department, I acted as co-chair for the university's Commencement Committee, managed planning and execution of VCU's May and December Commencement ceremonies, and other high-level university events such as Convocation and presidential speaking engagements, coordinated special programs, communications and research projects for the Executive Director of University Relations, as well as managed the internship program for VCU Events and Special Programs.
