• Management of a caseload of Long-term Inpatient Clients, in tandem with a Social Worker, to ensure Consumer service-based needs are met within the program, by: • Addressing medical, personal care, and rehabilitation needs• Fully documenting all Case Management duties performed and all interactions with clients, families, and outside parties• Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of Individualized Treatment Plans, as a member of the Treatment Team, and in adherence to prescribed parameters of the Individual Plans of Service• Meet with assigned consumers face-to-face as deemed medically necessary in their Individual Plan of Service, including participation in all Treatment Team meetings and meetings with outside parties • Communicate appropriately with outside parties such as Referring Physicians, Nurse Case Managers, families, Adjusters, and other service providers• Work collaboratively with Social Work partner to ensure compliance with Inpatient and Transitional Client documentation requirements

• Management of own caseload of Outpatient Clients to ensure their safe and comfortable admission into the program by addressing medical, personal care, and rehabilitation needs• Fully documenting all Case Management duties performed and all interactions with clients, families, and outside parties• Work collaboratively within the Case Manager/Social Work Team to provide administrative assistance in the following:• Ensuring compliance with Inpatient and Transitional Client documentation requirements• Creation and acquisition of documentation needs as requested• Scheduling transportation services for Inpatient/ Transitional clients.• As well as any other Clerical needs as requested

Responsible for daily operations and supervision of a 6-bed Specialized Residential AFC facility and all accompanying direct support staff, and the assistance of the Director of Operations in all daily operations of the program- Serve as a liaison between the Direct Support staff and Clinical Treatment team, and provide ongoing coaching and mentoring for the DSP’s and Assistant Shift Manager- Ensure staff members are in compliance with all state and federal regulations, and Hope Network BHS requirements – including maintaining appropriate training requirements- Ensuring that the AFC program is being run efficiently under the Best Practices for Behavioral Health facilities, and changes and/or revisions are made promptly, as necessary

Provide direct supervision and inter-active treatment to high acuity individuals in the program; Role models appropriate behavior and teaches life skills to residents; Provides evaluation and instruction in areas of daily living skills or independent living skills to enhance the resident's ability to reach his/her highest level of independence

Personal administrative assistant and sighted assistant for Dr. Jennipher Wiebold within the Counseling Education/ Counseling Psychology and Blindness & Low Vision departments of Western Michigan University. I provided assistance with clerical tasks such as filing, document editing, shredding, answering phone calls, setting up appointments, making phone calls on behalf of Dr. Wiebold, and organization of graduate student files and documentation. My main role included providing reading assistance as well as driving Dr. Wiebold to appointments due to her visual impairment.
