I am a contractor for the Small Business Administration and I am currently helping approve loans for small businesses to help with the Corona virus.

I am currently working at a debt collection law firm, Blitt and Gaines, and my position is drafting aliases that will be sent out to the defendant. I work independently and do aliases for all of Illinois, Missouri, Indiana, and Wisconsin. In order to keep myself organized, I use Excel so I know what has been completed and what needs to be completed. When I started at Blitt and Gaines, my role was to type up and distribute different types of collection letters like payment plan letter, settled or paid in full letters. After that I moved up to drafting the complaints that go out to the defendants. When I would draft complaints, I would have to verify I am using the right county for the defendant by using Rand McNally. I would at times also have to use LexisNexus to make sure we had the most updated address.

In this position, I delegated duties to floor associates who were scheduled in my department. I also dealt with filling orders, and reporting to upper management.
