Wavehill is a consulting firm that collects data and conducts research for a number of companies and organisations. While I was there I was able to collect data over the phone using a variety of techniques which allowed the person on the other end of the phone to feel relaxed and confident that their answers were being heard accurately.I also conducted general admin work of writing and answering emails, phone calls, spreadsheet organisation, hitting phone call targets etc.

In this position I managed a huge range of situations, from basic customer service, keeping stock, remembering large orders and fulfilling them efficiently, etc, to more complex situations for when people were intoxicated and not acting entirely appropriately. This included de-escalation tactics, being able to negotiate with customers, and being able to say "no" to them in a way that would not cause further issues. In amongst all of this, it is important to note that teamwork was absolutely essential to creating a safe working environment.
