After completing my apprenticeship in 2008, I worked in a number of Australian hospitality establishments before moving to England, where I was employed for one and a half years as a 1st Commis at one of London’s Luxuries Hotel. During my time in England I often travelled around Europe and developed the taste and passion for French cuisine and decided to work in Paris for one year, where I was employed at Mandarin Oriental Paris as Commis de cuisine and had the pleasure to work for one of the top chef in France. I am very efficient and it was here that I developed a much more productive system of food prep, which was commended by the chef de cuisine. I also gained experience in managing trainees.I returned back to Australia for a short time and worked in few high profile establishments before settling back in France for almost another 2 and half years. There I had another opportunity to further develop my skills in Mediterranean and Provençal cuisine. Over the years as a chef I have had professional experience in a range of establishments and have culinary training and knowledge in a number of cuisines. I am extremely passionate at putting my own ideas and creativity on dishes, creating new combinations and experimenting with new flavours while being careful not to compromise the freshness and originality of the food I prepare. I am a creative, enthusiastic, hardworking chef with a passion for food and lots of experience working in busy restaurants around the world. I have always known that being in a kitchen, preparing amazing food for others, is where I want to be.I am great at following orders and working as part of a team, but can also step up to delegate and take charge when required. I believe my exceptional culinary expertise, positive outlook and absolute passion for this industry.
