Vohne Liche Kennels-Nine Week Dual Purpose Police Dog Trainers CourseMarch 18, 2013-current•This course combined all phases of Detector and Patrol Dog Training. I co-trained 20 “green” dogs and handlers through all phases of Police Service Dog Training.•I was assigned several “green” dogs and completed their odor imprintation. After successful imprintation, I completed the second phase of their detector work. This encompassed teaching the dogs to hunt in various practical applications. Training focused on the following key points: Odor characteristics, imprintation, leash control methods, presentation, rewards, protocol training techniques, problem solving for the dog and handler, and teaching the dog to hunt.•Completed all phases of the following areas that are included in the patrol work training: Control, decoy techniques, apprehension, building search, area search, basic E-Collar, obedience, and tracking.

- Dual Purpose Explosive Detector Dog Handler CourseNovember 12 – December 21, 2012-240HRS• K9 grooming and health, first aid/safety, legal issues, and leash control.• Explosive overview and searching, odor characteristics: vacuums and contours• On and Off Leash Detection Searches: buildings, vehicle (interior and exterior), warehouse and area. • Imprinting, tracking, on/off leash obedience, and handler protection.• Area Search: wooded, industrial, residential, and open. • Control sequence, vehicle bail outs, vehicle extraction, gunfire, and decoy techniques • E-collar introduction-off leash control.

• CIDNE Operator functioned as a part of an intelligence analytical team consisting of HUMINT analyst, All-Source analyst, and an Intelligence Collection Manager. Primarily worked with military to provide intelligence products in support of Regional Command, BCT/RCT/MEU/MEB/Coalition Brigade (BDE) and Battalion CJ2 staff’s analytical requirements. Performed data entry on relevant IED incidents, personnel, device, or exploitation analysis into the CIDNE system accurately. CIDNE Operator ensured the validity of IED activity data entered into CIDNE and performed quality assurance/quality control analysis of CIDNE data entry process and content.• Navy and Army Special Forces (SOF) liaison assisted with the analysis and production of various intelligence products specifically focused on the C-IED mission at the tactical and operational level related to insurgent IED cell activities, and threats to local/regional stability. Coordinated C-IED Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) collection for future operational planning. Provided FMV analysis for future planning and operations for Special Programs. Acted as SOFT-EAST AOB liaison, coordinated collection and intelligence sharing to assist in future operational planning and targeting, also provided daily SIGACT updates. • Conducted Joint Intelligence and Operations with NATO forces and performed liaison tasks with Norwegian, Latvian, and Polish forces.• Functioned as CIAT liaison for Law Enforcement Professional Investigative and Surveillance Unit (LEP-IS). Provided intelligence support and assistance with the role of judicial, biometrics, and criminal intelligence investigation process. • Created Engineer Brigade CIDNE Reporting SOP and training plan.
