• Process attorney requests for all medical charges and verifying that they are HIPAA compliant• Handle incoming and outgoing paperwork and mail for the charity assistance program• Provide a variety of customer service and collection activities including direct patient contact, takingincoming calls to resolve patient questions, complaints, and past due self-balances, updating patientinsurance coverage and billing accordingly, and updating the patients registration files as needed* Experience with computerized billing system, collections and patient information system, basicmedical terminology, and call center/ switchboard environment. Demonstrated proficiency with software:Outlook Express, Internet Explorer, Excel, Word, multiline phone, and Epic.
