Senior Wholesale Manager, heading up Designer & Occasionwear Teams

- Ownership of leading and managing sales accounts. Responsible for delivering monthly 4%+ growth targets and for exceeding weekly show targets of +£35k.- Manage and build the relationship with multiple Buying teams: leading monthly collection presentations and monitoring stock holdings to proactively recommend reorders of best sellers, frequently of up to 5k units.- Designing, writing, and delivering monthly presentations on trade position and seasonal reviews to clients and department heads.- Successfully negotiate trade terms and stock positions at the end of season to drive sell-throughs and increase QVC OTB year on year, while ensuring the continuation and enhancements of services.- Proactively working with in-house design and marketing team to ensure consumer needs are met through innovative range planning and detailed analysis of previous season’s performance.

• Successfully supported Buyer; working with 115 brands across Casualwear, Underwear and Swim.• Direct management of Buyers Admin Assistants, supporting their personal growth and progression. • Organised Global market schedules, part-taking and leading brand-buying appointments in London, Paris and Milan • In-Season trading: Successfully recognised, reacted and implemented opportunities to maximise sales through reorders, stock swaps and negotiating trade terms. • Strong analytical understanding of weekly sell-through reports; reporting and presenting back to Buying Director and Head of Merchandising in weekly trade meetings on global trading positions and delivery intakes.• Effectively contributed in seasonal-planning presentations. Providing innovative ideas for opportunities in order to generate sales, grow overall department OTB and improve all round performances. • Successfully orchestrated and launched new brands globally on MR PORTER, working together with Editorial, Site and Studio Teams to represent the brands identity while appealing to the MR PORTER customer. • Creative involvement with brands to produce exclusive collaborations.• During my time, also worked on top performing categories, achieving a full understanding of luxury brands from Designerwear and Accessories, to helping launch the first Luxury Watch category.• Strong understanding of global trends and environmental factors.

Supporting MR PORTER Buying team- Brand Academies: responsible for inviting brands in at the beginning of seasons to present and show their collections to all internal departments, ahead of new product launches- Responsible for organising Fashion week schedules for all Senior Buyers- Wrote and presented seasonal trends presentations - Trend analysis- Competitor analysis- Updating internal reports
