Ensuring the safety of everyone online should be a top priority considering how advanced technology is and will be in the future. Growing up around technology has allowed me to adapt to constant change. Cyber Security is the perfect way to make sure not only the people around me are safe online, but people around the world are safe too. As I finish up my Bachelor's Degree in Cyber Security at Collin College, the skills and attributes I continue to gain will allow me to achieve my goal of ensuring security online.Attending John F. Kennedy Middle College High School as a dual-enrolled student at a local community college, it allowed me to graduate as a senior with 12 college credits. I was the Media Director of a student success club called Renaissance for 2 years. I also was a Social Media Director of the Humanity Club as well. Social Media is such a big part of getting people connected in the modern-day and it is important to be able to understand how to keep profiles as inviting as possible to peers.Working at an indoor playground allowed me to enhance my communication skills from young children to older adults. By having such a wide variety of ages to communicate to, any conversation can be well understood between both parties. Communication is such a strong component in any situation people come across. Ideas need to be explained in a way everyone can understand as well as for people to be able to work as a team and solve any problems and misunderstandings that show up along the way. Several different media outlets can explain an idea.I have mastered all Microsoft office applications such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc. Adapting to all social media platforms to address all ages and countries is an achievement that has been mastered and I will continue to gain knowledge as they advance as well. My goal is to master my information system networks, network protections, and network users. This will allow confidentiality, integrity, and authentications.
