Retrieve test requisitions from accessioning. Verify that the patient, facility and physician information is correct while translating the paper requisition to CLIN1 LIMS (software) correctly. Interpret and input the billing information and medication lists in CLIN1. Notify the supervisor of any errors after making corrections. Keep toxicologists updated when requisition plates are ready to be imported and closed out.

After identifying “Test Not Received” (missing/errored) paperwork I would work with our customer to receive missing information to facilitate closing the issues; as our goal was to minimize the number of TNR’s that get sent to the lab. My metric of performance error rate was 1%-3%.
