Yiskah LLC is a Lifestyle Design Agency focused on creating powerful experiences in the hospitality industry.

Once the Lifestyle sector was developed to a steady level, I was able to then hire and expand the team further, where I began managing all marketing projects and initiatives. Leading the Marketing Department in both the Lifestyle & Wedding divisions, I worked on managing multiple projects from the various locations. Creating successful campaigns, events, promotions, collateral, branding & identity systems for each location, as well as scheduling PR coverage, photoshoots, social media campaigns and sales promotions. By analyzing data and market trends, we were able to respond creatively with effective and powerful solutions, increasing sales in both Wedding & A La Carte divisions. While managing the in-house team, I've also created and implemented systems and protocol for seamless workability, while also managing outside contracted employees and services to make sure things remain on brand and on track.

Life in the kitchen was exciting, creative, and fun but after a while I noticed the impact it had on my family, so I chose to go back into hospitality in the area of Lifestyle & Branding, where I could still work closely with food and promotions, but be on the corporate side again. Starting at Landmark, I began to rebrand their menu systems, programming, live music, events, brand standards, printed collateral, website design, and social media presence. Focusing primarily on the Food & Beverage side, I began working closely with the Operations team in opening their location, Terra e Mare in Jersey City, while managing their other locations brand and marketing requests. Working closely with Operations, we were able to expand their offerings, promote special events and programming, and refine their outward-facing branding on all levels.

From Pascal & Sabine, I was asked to step up as the Sous Chef & Pastry Chef for Homesick, as well as take on the leadership of Executive Pastry Program Manager for all of Smith restaurants. At Homesick, I began creating the menu from ground-up with the Executive Chef. I worked closely with him on developing a curated dinner and brunch menu, plating techniques, and I then developed the pastry/dessert menu. Once the restaurant was in full-swing, I worked as the Pastry Chef in the morning, and Sous Chef on the line at night. I worked closely with the Front of House Management team to develop specials and promotions, including late-night home-made fresh cookies paired with a crafted cocktail. In addition to creating menus, I also created schedules, managed the Back of House payroll and staff, took inventory of all ingredients, placed orders, organized the spaces, followed proper food handling guidelines, and that everything we created was not only visually appealing, but of quality.

After beginning my culinary exploration, I found that I really loved this aspect of hospitality I had never been in before, and chose to completely shift my career path into the world of Pastry. Starting at Pascal & Sabine, I began to study breadmaking, various baking techniques, and flavor profiles. From here, I also supported the kitchen staff in prep, creating specials, and learned from the chefs about managing a kitchen staff.

When COVID hit, I chose to not stay home and instead find a job where I could work and keep making things, exploring different outlets of my creativity. At Amici, I began baking and expanding their menu, while also becoming their General Manager and Head Barista, supporting the company in surviving through the pandemic with new offerings, ways of customer service, practice with safety measures and expanding their delivery options.

At Origin, I worked to support the company from ground up. I managed clients, requests, projects, designs, the team, approvals, presentations and production. Creating branded pieces, store concepts & design, wayfinding solutions and other larger branded environmental graphics, I worked to create spaces that changed the retail industry.

Taught a Studio Skills course, where 2nd/3rd year students learn the fundamentals of design, skills, creating models and brand thinking.Previously taught a collaborative, multi-disciplinary, senior level studio course on Restaurant & Experience Design.

At Smith, I managed the branding and promotional pieces, including space designs, menus, apparel and experiences for their restaurants throughout Asbury Park, NJ, Jersey City, NJ and the Philadelphia Area. Working closely with the operations team, we would create events, programming, live experiences, branded installations and more, which supported the company as a group who makes a difference in communities.

Work with architects, store planners, and interior designers to review floor plans and elevations. Using the plans and elevations, I create store designs and signage packages and set them up in presentations for the client. I meet with interior designers to review materials and paints, and then after the design is approved, I prepare and send all files (wall vinyl and signage) for production and send it to print.
