I'm excited to share that I will be joining the Family Centre as an Intern Therapist starting in January 2025! This opportunity marks a significant step in my journey toward becoming a counsellor. - Provides administrative supports to programs within children, family and community service area - Assists Indigenous Cultural Connector with planning, writing proposals for, and facilitating cultural trainings and events for youth, clients, and staff- Formats client documents and incident reports for uploading client management system and emailing to Government of Alberta Children’s Services- Files confidential client files and digitally tracks files via data entry in records management system- Welcomes clients and answers inquiries both in-person and over the phone while directing client calls to the appropriate programs and available community supports via switchboard system- Schedules appointment bookings for staff and clients- Completes and maintains certification and/or relevant training

- Responsible for in-house sales, working with customers to understand their needs and supporting them through the selection and purchasing process, including providing cost estimates - Developed design consultation service, hosted one-on-one meetings with clients to assist them with choosing appropriate exterior products for their home or commercial building- Developed and maintained a social media presence by creating Pinterest boards for each store product; this created interest in products and helped customers visualize how products would look in their home - Developed an organizational system to support a collaborative approach to sales, creating a better experience for customers and supporting more effective processes for the entire sales team- Used Base Zendesk CRM software and Quickbooks to maintain up-to-date records and monthly sales targets- Responded to customer inquiries through answering phones and responding to emails

- Prepared lesson plans for 50 pre-school children’s ministry volunteers- Developed systems to prepare materials systematically- Maintained participant records

- Cleaned homes on a bi-weekly and monthly basis, using homemade natural cleaning products- Maintained relationships with more than 20 clients, responded to concerns and changing needs- Developed a successful marketing campaign to target customers with medium-large sized homes and disposable income, resulting in a 3% response rate (industry average is 1%)- Hired and trained additional staff to meet demand
