Executive Director, Greater Nashua Food Council July 2017- Present-Successfully implementing collective impact model to coordinate efforts of 80 organizations and community members. -Network leadership resulted in multiple new food system connections that produced:● Community urban farms serve 40 families and produce about 2000 lbs of fresh vegetables.● Summer meals programs collectively serve about 600 kids with over 23,000 meals served● Boys and Girls Club of Nashua donated a van for use by Hillsborough County Gleaner.● Hillsborough County Gleaner has delivered 450 pounds of fresh produce and 50 dozen eggs to Boys and Girls Club families so far in 2018 growing season. They have also delivered about 5,000 fresh produce to Salvation Army. ● Farm to School currently reaches about 200 students and is growing to reach a total of 1,600 in 2018-2019 School Year. ● Slow cooker classes have served 5 families in its first round of classes.● Food council co-founders have given a webinar to NH Food Alliance on the food council, have provided guidance to other communities considering food councils, and have been accepted into New England Food Solutions Food System Leadership Institute. -Designed and held community listening sessions to better understand community food access issues.-Developing strategic plans using data. -Individually interviewed food council members for annual feedback and working to implement areas of growth.
