Most recently, I worked for a non-profit organization in Perrysburg, Ohio called Partners for Clean Streams (PCS), where my position was the Communications and Outreach Specialist. PCS strives to provide abundant open space and a high quality natural environment, adequate floodwater storage capacities and flourishing wildlife for the community; empower stakeholders to take local ownership in their resources; and maintain rivers, streams and lakes so that they are clean, clear and safe. I completed my Master's degree in Community Sustainability from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan in May 2015. The focus of my degree program was environmental education and community engagement. I aspire to establish a career working within a community towards creating and maintaining a sustainable, healthy, and viable life for all. I enjoy working in a collaborative environment, through which everyone is working towards a common goal. I am passionate about the environment, people, and the fostering a positive relationship between the two. Prior to attending Michigan State, I received my Bachelor's degree in Communication, with minors in environmental science and journalism, from Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio.
