Jessica Masson Guerette is an occupational therapist with 15 years ofexperience serving infants, preschool and school-aged populations in diverseand unique environments. She first came to Yukon in 2011 and has beenworking as an occupational therapy consultant at Student Support Services,Yukon Department of Education. She has extensive knowledge and expertiseregarding child development, early intervention, inclusion, individualizedprogramming and special education. Jessica has frequently developed andpresented seminars and workshops for teachers and educators on varioussubjects, including typical developmental sequence, fine motor and printing,the complexity beyond handwriting, sensory processing and self-regulation.She has developed a strong knowledge of northern challenges that apply toremote communities and the First Nation populations based on extensiveconsulting experience in Yukon, Northern British Columbia and NorthernQuebec.
