When I began this job I was a tech, there was an instructor over me and I was mainly a second pair of eyes to help spot mistakes and be at rehearsals that the instructor could not attend. I worked with middle and high school kids one or two days a week for around three hours as well as most Saturdays between June and November. I took over as head Instructor for the 2020 Marching Season. While it was a different type of season because of Corona, we were still active as much as we could be in a social distanced capacity. I choreographed 75% of and taught all of the flag work and dance that went into the show, went to three rehearsals a week for three hours and all competitions. I dealt with sick and injured kids and made all of the decisions about the Colorguard alongside the Band Director. We also do off-season work with the Colorgaurd to recruit new members and keep them active. I create a show theme and design with music, dance, flag, and weapon choreography, and teach the kids the show in hopes to perform.

As a Colorguard Tech for the Glasgow Marching Band I helped teach and clean flag work and managed middle and high school kids. This job taught me a lot about handling different kinds of responsibility at the same time, as I did this job during my freshman year of college. Being a Colorgaurd Tech also taught me how to handle different types of high stress situations such as helping injured kids and making big decisions on the spot.

As a Cashier I worked up front taking orders or working the Drive Thru. When I was not with a customer I was helping the Frontline Worker clean and maintain the pasta and salad bars, as well as filling out orders for pick-up and delivery. As a Frontline Worker my main job was to keep the the pasta and salad bars stocked and clean as well as close the front section of the kitchen. This included a deep clean of my area.
