About Jessica Johns

Travel media has been my home for over 20 years now spanning across brands like Expedia (current), Lonely Planet, TravelZoo, and LA Times. I understand the challenges and goals of hospitality and travel clients as well as work closely with their agencies. I have spent a long time building relationships in my territory (West Coast, Hawaii, W. Canada, Mexico) as well as created new ones, and that is one of my favorite aspects of my career. I sit on the Board of Directors for CalTravel as well as Regional Girl Scouts and District Boy Scouts.I have served as the 2014-2017 Los Angeles Chapter President of HSMAI (Hospitality Sales and Marketing Assoc International). Through this networking/ educational group I help put together relevant panel discussions and monthly events for our members, manage membership, help balance budget, manage the board members, and help make HSMAI LA successful. During my presidency we doubled our luncheon attendance as well as cut our annual expenses by 40%.
