When graduating year 12, the following year I was successful in gaining a Certificate III Business traineeship at Country Home Services. Country Home Services offers services to everyone and anyone in the community, regardless of age or ability, who may need extra help around the home. Some clients will be eligible for a Federal or State Government subsidy depending on their circumstances and physical needs. Country Home Services uses the brokerage system to match clients with locally based independent contractors who provide a range of services. I was in administration and reception in my role where I took all incoming phone calls from all inbound and outbound clients. I loved my position as I have a genuine empathy for all clients and customers who we assisted, it was great to know that you were making a change to their lives and assisting them in even the smallest of ways which we could.
