I worked directly with the chiropractor, assisting with patient note's and EMR's, performed therapy on patients (pain management therapy, e-stem therapy, laser therapy, ultrasound therapy), took vitals and performed all new patient exams and evaluations.

Travel to different places/businesses performing health screenings. The screenings included drawing blood to check cholesteral levels, finger sicks to check glucose levels. Perform anddocument manual BP and pulse rate, check patients heigh and weight.

As a lab tech/processor I collected urine samples from patients to perform drug screens on. If a patient was unable to provide a urine sample an oral swab was obatined for testing. I was also responsible for drawing blood from patients to check thickness of their blood before have procedures done as well as BMP's, CBC's, and any other test the doctors may wish to have done. On average I would draw blood from around 20 patients a day.

Assist doctor with seeing patients and performing procedures such as nerve blocks, epidurals, and bio identical hormone inserts, monitor patients in the recovery area, set up sterile equipment needed for various procedures, give injections, draw blood, started IV's,took vital signs, return patient calls, complete medical record requests and mail out. Assisted with running the front desk, answering phones, and scheduling when the receptionist was not there. Transcribed for doctor during patient visits and provided patients with education materials. Made referrals and scheduled patients for imaging procedures ordered by the doctor.

Collect and process blood, urine, and saliva specimens for drug screens, DNA profiles, and other ordered tests.

I was the security supervisor at Cinram. I supervised my security staff, monitored all log books, and checked incoming and out-going truck shipments. In addition I also monitored our security check points that every warehouse employee had to enter and exit through. I helped monitor our security cameras and made numerous rounds around the plant to control theft and damage to the product and help ensure all procedures were being done safely according to the SOP. As supervisor I also responded to all first-aid dispatch calls and administered first aid when needed. (vital signs, BP, cuts, burns, etc. and called 911 when medically necessary. My goal as supervisor was to run the best shift and compile the best crew the lowest theft/shrinkage and the lowest accident reports. I strive to be the best at everything I do and know I can do anything I put my mind to.

I assigned the other phlebotomist an area to work in as well as my own personal floor for the night. I went to patients rooms to draw all the morning labs as well as timed labs and stat labs that I was paged to draw. If there was a code somewhere in the hospital I had to respond and go immediately to where ever it was. I ensured all blood samples reached the lab via the tube transport system or by carrying them down to the lab myself. As supervisor I was also responsible for drawing any labs that other phlebotomist and nurses could not do including going over to womens and children's hospital, ie. hard sticks. On average I obtained blood from 70-80 patients each night.

I worked as a phlebotomy team lead, supervising other phlebotomist on blood drives. I also performed mini physicals on every potential donor, performed blood typing, checked their hemoglobin and hematocrit, checked vital signs, entered donors into our donor registration system, and drew blood from any donor that successfully passed all of our pre-donation qualifications. As a team lead I was responsible for monitoring my crew and everyone looked and acted professional at all times, recruited new sites for us to collect blood, and obtained blood from donors that were considered "hard sticks" when the other phlebotomist could not successfully obtain the blood. I preformed quality control checks on all equipment prior to bring each blood drive and kept all info documented into a log book.
