Worked closely with teams of Buyers and Designers to develop private label home goods. Categories included Kitchen, Table Top, Christmas Décor and Pet. Responsible for reviewing approved design sample to Pre-Production and Top of Production. Conveyed any changes to product to various overseas teams and problem solved various production issues. This ranged from shadebands, failed testing, quality concerns. Reviewed all product packaging to ensure accuracy and legality standards were met. Worked closely with Quality Control Manager to review testing and correct any product failures. Traveled overseas meeting and working closely with our overseas partners to develop product. Created multiple SOP's to help various teams to work more efficiently. This ensured product detail accuracy and cut down lead times. Lead meetings to review product standards and product development sheets.

As color manager I worked closely with designers and overseas factories to ensure the color standard was being met. This required a key understanding of color and fabrications. Was required to pass a yearly color examine to ensure color accuracy. Responsible to maintain our inhouse color system along with Pantones. Reviewed color swatches from Men's Apparel, Women's Apparel, Intimates and Home. During this time, I also worked closely with our Quality Control Manager. I reviewed failed testing, product development guidelines and child safety requirements. Ensured standards were being maintained to protect private label brands. Developed a full understanding of product development across multiple areas. Worked closely with the Fabric Manager discussing different fabrics and the properties of each. This grew my understanding of how the base fabric could alter the color and testing properties. Assisting in both of these areas greatly improved my understanding of product development from Apparel to Home goods.
