I am currently a Senior Sales Account Manager at Health Alliance Plan (HAP), a metro Detroit health insurance company. Since 2016 it's been my pleasure to work with employer groups of all sizes with their medical insurance needs for their employees. My primary goal is to administer excellent customer service as well as usher groups through the benefit renewal process, and build strong and lasting relationships. Prior to HAP I worked for Henry Ford Health System (HFHS) as a contact center advocate, a vital role in the patient customer experience. My primary role was speaking with patients to help schedule appointments and assist with other medical needs. Over my three years at the contact center I identified that a critical step missing was education on insurance verification. I developed an Insurance training course that was required by all 500 contact center advocates, which ignited my passion for health insurance.
