Many parents would like to homeschool their children but must work outside the home. I am starting a tutoring service geared toward these needs. The concept is small-group tutoring. Students will meet in a parent's home and work under my supervision on the curriculum the parents choose. The program is designed for middle and high school students and group size is limited to 10. The group will meet from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM. The cost is $100 per week per student. For a nine-month school year, this comes to $3600 per year--approximately half of what private schools charge. In addition, there are no application fees or charges for uniforms.
